No excuses!

There are many people that exchange the glory of God for the futilities of the world, and yet they claim to be well in their spiritual life. Don't you feel like a fish that is deceived by a bait on a hook, when you exchange the faithfulness of God for the temporary happiness of the world? The problem is that the fish doesn't have the capacity to think, but you have and yet are allowing the world to deceive you. And it's because you prefer to pretend not to know that you are far from God than to stop doing what is wrong in the eyes of God. It's so sad, because when He comes back, many who thought they would be saved, will realize that it's not the case when they have found themselves left behind. Maybe you say, "how have I exchange my God for the things of the world?" You do so when you stop coming to the the church, when you give excuses trying to justify why you are not seeking God, when you think that church you have whenever you want, but this thing that you were invited for, you don't know when you will have another opportunity and things like this. What God want is that we assume our faith and put him as the most important one in our lives. He wants us to seek him first, and then, if we can go out with our friends we do it, if not, at least we have done our part with God.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV)

Think about it!

God bless you.

Salvation

Good afternoon everybody!

Yesterday I spoke here in the church, about us being regenerated through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. He sacrificed his life for us to receive an  inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, reserved for us in heaven. This inheritance is nothing else but our salvation. Although this salvation will be achieved by those who are kept by the power of God through faith. Which means that, you will not be saved just because you want to, but, if you are fighting to be saved. You may be asking; How do I fight to be saved? You fight when you don't allow your lack of time to impede you to come to the church, when you overcome tiredness, distance, difficulties and everything else, to show God you really want to be saved. Other wise, you will be saying that you are of God, but at the end, you will be left behind. Think about it, have you been doing everything you can to get your salvation?

Tomorrow at 11 am we have our special meeting, don't lose another opportunity to come and fight for your salvation.

I hope to see you all tomorrow here in the church. God bless you!

DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE PROBLEMS

Reading about the day that God told Gideon to go down against the camp of Midi-an, He said, if you are afraid to go down, go down with your servant Purah and hear what they say. Gideon went down to hear, what shows that he was still afraid, even after doing the sacrifice and obey the guidance God, but when he went down and heard what they were saying about him, when one of the Midi-an-ites was talking about the dream he had, Gideon realized that the Midi-an-ites were afraid of him, because they knew God was with Gideon. In our days, it is not different, because when we have our God with us, the devil is afraid of us. For sure, he will try to raise a lot of problems against us, trying to intimidate us, for us not to look at Jesus, and consequently to be afraid of him and lose the battle. Gideon then, heard what they said, his hands were strengthened and he went down against the enemies. Keep this message within you and instead of you being afraid of the devil, believe that he is afraid of you and go against him. For sure the victory shall be yours.Read the book of Judges 7. 9-15May God bless all those who understood they have Him within them and go against the devil with no doubt of their victory.Bishop Celso Rebequi.

In the past, God spoke on various occasions and in different ways. He used dreams, visions and prophecies to convey His will to His dedicated and righteous servants.
Through His Son Jesus, He not only confirmed old prophecies, but also announced the coming of the Kingdom of God and how to take possession of it.
After His death, resurrection and ascension, the Lord Jesus sent the Helper to continue the work of bringing salvation.
Nowadays, the Spirit of God continues to speak, but not by dreams, visions or prophecies. He speaks through His Word—the Holy Bible.
So, the question is: Why did He give us the gift of prophecy?
"But he who prophesies speaks EDIFICATION and EXHORTATION and COMFORT to men." I Corinthians 14:03
As you can see, the gift of prophecy is not to foresee or predict anyone's future. Its purpose is to edify, exhort and comfort the Church.
How does the Holy Spirit speak?
How can you be sure it’s His voice?
How can you be sure you’re not being deceived by other voices?
There's only one way to be sure: By being born of water and the Spirit, obtaining His Divine nature and the power to understand His Word.
Only those who are born of the Spirit are able to recognize when His Spirit speaks to them through the Bible. Have you noticed how many Christians (born of the flesh) have been deceived by the spirit of the antichrist because of biblical interpretations!
We can see what kind of relationship exists between the Father and the Son, when Jesus said:
"No one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him." Matthew 11:27
When the Holy Spirit’s voice, guidance or inspiration comes from the Word of God, its listener is left with no room for doubts.
Especially, when it’s His children.
The problem is that their ears aren’t always attentive and ready to hear His voice.
God speaks.
He speaks to His children and to others as well.
He speaks through His written Word.
He speaks through His true servants, while they’re preaching (prophecy) the Gospel.
He also uses the opportunity to speak to us when we’re dealing with our everyday problems.
His sweet gentle voice speaks loud and clear, when we find ourselves in the desert. The more alone we feel, the louder and clearer He speaks.
When you separate yourself from your family, friends and coworkers’ polluted words and when you disconnect yourself from the audiovisual pollution of television, internet, radio, newspapers and magazines, your full attention can be focused towards hearing God’s voice.
The audiovisual pollutions of this world have been the greatest enemy of God's voice.
That is why we are going to be fasting during the last 21 days of the year, beginning on December 11, 2011. This will be our 3rd Fast of Daniel this year, for those who want to receive the Spirit of God.
During this fast, we will abstain from all kinds of audiovisual entertainment. We will focus our thoughts only on what comes from above. Those who believe move forward, those who don’t believe stay behind.
God bless those who believe.

WHY DO I HAVE TO SACRIFICE?

When we speak about sacrifice, there are a lot of people that come against us because of what we are speaking about, and they condemn the fact that we are talking about it. The truth is, if we observe these people, they are exactly those people who are not able to conquer their goals, and that is because they do not accept the necessity of sacrificing on behalf of their dreams to come true. And worse than this, once they reject the need of sacrificing they are also rejecting God himself, because it is He who gives us the direction to sacrifice for what we want for. It was exactly like this when the people of God were in Egypt and God took them to the mount Sinai in order for them to sacrifice, and since that time, they left that place which was the foot of mount Sinai toward the promised land. It also happens in our days, when we follow the direction of God, that always will lead us to the sacrifice, through what we show our real faith, and as consequence we will be driven by God to conquer what represents the promised land to each one of us. In other words, the blessings that we sacrificed for.

     God bless you all!

Fogueira Santa. Campaign of Israel.

We are doing our campaign of Israel, and as we know, this is the moment that our God is calling us to show our faith, and this faith can not be showed by words, which is very easy, but by action thru what we can call the attention of God.

今はイスラエルのキャンペンをしています。それは、皆さんが解っているように自分の信仰を表すことが必要です。でも、言葉だけではなく、自分の行いでその信仰を表さなければならないです。そうすると、神様の注目を取られることができます。
